The seminar will discuss and exemplify real time as part of a transdisciplinary field of art practice. Some of the most influential international artists, critics, historians and curators within the field of media art and new media art have been asked to give their own version of real time + art. Taken together with the anthology and exhibition, the Get Real! Seminar will present a kaleidoscopic view on the issues of real time as they are reflected in the history, practices and theories of art.

Organized by:
KANONHALLEN/ Copenhagen, Roskilde University Centre – Department of Performance/design, University of Copenhagen – department of Art History, The Mediafactory/ Informations Forlag, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Roskilde.
