Join us in the twilight of Sct. Hans Gardens for an atmospheric lantern walk and concert in the exhibition In the Darkness, We Ask the Sun to Remember Us.
In celebration of Saint Lucia’s Day, we gather around the light and allow music to guide us through the art, the winter darkness, and the fjord landscape.
The evening begins with a lantern walk through the gardens, where, in both the artworks and the garden features, we explore the healing, luminous, and regenerative potential hidden in nature’s dormant stages of winter. Afterwards, we gather around the warmth and light of the old garden chapel, where Naja-Marie Soulié (cello) and Isak Schiødt (saxophone) call the light home with a musical composition specially written for this occasion, the region’s fjord landscape, and the dark time in which we meet.
Along the way, we’ll offer something warm to drink and something sweet to eat.
The event will be held in Danish, but since music is the focus of the evening, non-danish speakers will be able to enjoy and understand most of the content.
