We are celebrating the opening of the exhibition Kaååråålines Vers, and you are invited to join.
The Museum of Contemporary Art Roskilde, invites everyone to celebrate the opening of Kaååråålines Vers on September 14 with a vernissage and a grand choral performance by the choir, BARK.
The forthcoming exhibition presents the life’s work of Karoline Ebbesen in a first ever art museum exhibition featuring loans from Museum Sct. Hans. Opening on September 14 at Kurhuset in Sankt Hans, the exhibition places Ebbesen’s works alongside pieces by Danish and international contemporary artists, who have found kinship and inspiration in Ebbesen’s textual and visual universe.
For the exhibition opening Lise Haller Baggesen’s piece Lille Solstråle Sad og så på Månen, a textile and sound piece referencing a poem by Ebbesen, can be experienced as a choral performance in collaboration with composer Anders Lauge Meldgaard and the 40-member choir BARK.
