What’s sexy about saving the planet? Artists Annie Sprinkle, Beth Stephens, and Dann Desciglio explore this question with humor and tenderness in their sound piece We Love You Forest at the Common in the Sct. Hans Gardens.

Through the trees and bushes, visitors hear moaning and whispers: ‘We love you, forest; we love your being; we love your branches and your bark.’ The piece includes a guide on how to make love to trees. inviting participants to join the ‘ecosexual movement.’

The artwork is part of the exhibition In the Darkness We Ask the Sun to Remember Us, which can be experienced at the Sct. Hans Gardens until December 21, 2024.
