The Festival of Lights will be held differently this year, due to latest Corona- restrictions. Instead of being a one-nighter it will now be prolonged to a whole week. The yellow palace will be illuminated every night between 25 and 29 January at 16-22 p.m.

Collection The Museum of Contemporary Art holds a collection of Danish and international contemporary art, which is gradually expanded with works created within the last 25 years. The main focus of the collection is the latest modes of expression: performance art, sound art, social art, new media etc. and the collection is continuously being adjusted to the latest currents.

The museum offers a range of educational programs for nursery schools, primary schools, secondary schools and tertiary educational institutions. The various exhibitions present Danish and international contemporary art experimenting with media and different expressions through installation, sound, video, photo and performance.
