The Old City Council Hall is located in the heart of historical Roskilde. In the old-fashioned rooms, you feel the wings of history. The gorgeous wallpaper and wooden decorations have been preserved exactly as they were when the City Council Hall first opened. 

In June 2023, this historic location served as the setting for Sparks, a performance by the Italian artist Francesca Grilli. Local children were invited to take part in the poetic art project, reading the palms of grownups and predicting their future.
